We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly-motivated Property Manager to join our team for a 458-unit residential apartment and townhomes community located in Chester, VA (Rivermont Crossing Apartments/Townhomes). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, financial reporting, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.As Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the community and ensuring its overall success. Supervise a staff of 12 employees. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Your role will involve a combination of leadership, customer service, and administrative responsibilities. Key responsibilities also include tenant relations, leasing and marketing, oversight of maintenance and inspections, compliance and regulations, and team leadership. A minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training in residential property management is required.Candidate must have the ability to maintain property standards, increase occupancy, decrease delinquency, and supervise the office/leasing team. The ability to multitask and maintain a professional appearance are a must. Strong organizational skills are required. Computer literacy is essential and proficiency in Excel, Word and Yardi are required. Some weekend work may be required.
