The General Manager position is an essential role within Luxury in Every wave that maintains and grows our luxury vacation rental brand through world class owner and guest experience with extraordinary property care.
● General Manager
The General Manager will need to have general knowledge of residential and property management laws and guidelines. They must be capable of working independently, problem-solving, making decisions, and maintaining constant communication with both their direct team and other departments. This person has the following qualities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Help create and implement strategies designed to grow and scale the business.
● Develop and maintain professional relationships with local businesses and other property managers.
● Communicate effectively via email, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
● Assist in establishing standard protocols and making recommendations for required products and materials.
● Maintain accurate records pertaining to preventative maintenance, inventory, and purchases.
● Maintain courteous communication with residents, guests, vendors & team.
● Responsible for meeting with vendors to establish expectations.
● Inspect homes to ensure expectations are being met.
● Review completed work orders to ensure compliance with expectations.
● Oversee maintenance projects and repairs, including vendor selection, administrative tasks, and training initiatives.
● Establish and enforce standardized training protocols for staff recruitment and ensure standards are maintained.
● Ensure timely completion of tasks and projects by both yourself and staff members are communicated well throughout.
● Educate yourself on governmental regulations and restrictions concerning maintenance procedures and/or health, safety and environment in the area.
● Participates in departmental meetings, seminars, functions, and community events as required.
● Recommendations and the decision-making processes regarding employee performance evaluations, promotions, hiring, and terminations as applicable
