Property Casualty Underwriting Manager manages and oversees the property/casualty insurance underwriting program for individuals and/or groups, such as accident insurance, crime insurance, loss of property insurance etc. Implements guidelines and procedures regarding risk exposure, application renewal, acceptance, modification, and denial. Leads and trains the underwriters to ensure integrity of property and casualty underwriting activities and processes. Being a Property Casualty Underwriting Manager experienced in risk management and complex applications. Provides consultative support for large accounts. Additionally, Property Casualty Underwriting Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires certification as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Property Casualty Underwriting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Property Casualty Underwriting Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of condominium Homeowners Association (HOA) properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service to homeowners.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the overall administration and processing of maintenance issues of the condominium property in accordance with HOA guidelines and regulations.
    • Oversee the financial aspects of the property, including budgeting, financial reporting, and collection of dues and fees while relying on our accounting team to process and record payments.
    • Coordinate and supervise maintenance, repairs, and renovations of common areas, facilities, and landscaping.
    • Act as a liaison between the HOA board of directors, homeowners, vendors, and contractors to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.
    • Conduct regular property inspections and address any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
    • Enforce HOA rules and regulations, and address violations in a fair and consistent manner.
    • Organize and attend HOA virtual board meetings, prepare agendas, and provide reports and updates as necessary.
    • Manage contracts and agreements with vendors, negotiate service agreements, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, legal requirements, and best practices in property management.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
    • 3-5 years of experience (preferred) in property management
    • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of HOA laws, regulations, and governing documents.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven leadership abilities and the ability to effectively manage a team.
    • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite or the ability to learn new software.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
