Property Casualty Underwriting Director directs and oversees the property/casualty insurance underwriting program for individuals and/or groups. Ensures the quality and integrity of underwriting activities and processes. Being a Property Casualty Underwriting Director develops guidelines and procedures regarding risk exposure, application renewal, acceptance, modification, and denial. Manages staff of property/casualty underwriters at the organization. Additionally, Property Casualty Underwriting Director provides assistance to underwriters on more complex applications. Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Property Assistant to join our team. The Property Assistant will provide administrative support to the property management team and assist with various tasks related to property leasing, facilities management, and legal administrative duties. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with property leasing activities, including showing units to prospective tenants, conducting background checks, and preparing lease agreements
- Coordinate maintenance requests and work orders with vendors and ensure timely completion
- Assist with facilities management, including monitoring building systems and coordinating repairs and maintenance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date tenant files and records
- Assist with legal administrative tasks, such as preparing legal documents and correspondence
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Conduct market research to stay informed about rental rates and market trends
- Assist with marketing efforts, including creating online listings and promoting available units
- Upsell additional services or amenities to current tenants
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management or related field is preferred
- Familiarity with Section 8 and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs is a plus
- Proficiency in Appfolio or similar property management software is highly desired
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
