Property Casualty Underwriting Director directs and oversees the property/casualty insurance underwriting program for individuals and/or groups. Ensures the quality and integrity of underwriting activities and processes. Being a Property Casualty Underwriting Director develops guidelines and procedures regarding risk exposure, application renewal, acceptance, modification, and denial. Manages staff of property/casualty underwriters at the organization. Additionally, Property Casualty Underwriting Director provides assistance to underwriters on more complex applications. Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the operations and management of Ridgway Housing Community.
As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of all aspects of the properties, including leasing, maintenance, tenant relations, and financial performance.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
- Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairs
- Advertise and market available units to attract prospective tenants
- Screen potential tenants through background checks and reference verification
- Prepare and execute lease agreements and enforce lease terms
- Collect rent payments and handle delinquencies in accordance with company policies
- Address tenant concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of property expenses, income, and occupancy rates
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure quality services are provided to the properties
- Stay updated on local laws and regulations related to property management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management or related field
- Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., OneSite) is a plus
- Excellent customer relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
