Ensures the quality and integrity of underwriting activities and processes. Being a Property Casualty Underwriting Director develops guidelines and procedures regarding risk exposure, application renewal, acceptance, modification, and denial. Manages staff of property/casualty underwriters at the organization. Additionally, Property Casualty Underwriting Director provides assistance to underwriters on more complex applications. Has extensive knowledge of the underwriting discipline. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires certification as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). As a Multi-line Adjuster for Brezina Claim Associates, Inc., you will serve as a field investigation representative knowledgeable of the entire claims process. You will provide claims investigative service and technical expertise regarding physical damage losses and injury claims. You will appraise, evaluate, negotiate and equitably settle first and third party property damage and bodily injury losses in accordance with the terms and conditions of corporate guidelines, policy contracts and existing insurance laws and regulations.
Qualified candidates need to possess:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant adjusting and physical damage appraisal experience.
• Experience and/or working knowledge of estimating and total loss evaluation systems.
• Current knowledge of property damage repair process.
• Computer literacy in a Windows operating environment.
• Texas P&C adjuster’s license.
• General understanding of liability assessment and relevant claims processes.
• Driving record verifiable through MVR.
• Ability to regularly lift 30 lbs.
Preferred experience includes:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Knowledgeable of Xactimate estimating platform.
• Ability to complete on site inspections in most weather conditions.
• Willingness to handle volume in outlying areas that may deem extended hours.
• ICAR certification.
