Job Summary:
The Property Manager is a key position at Real Property Management Consultants. The role is responsible for building connections with our investor clients and doing business with the utmost integrity promoting the values of our brand and office. How we conduct business is a key measure of our ultimate success.
Key Duties:
- Establish and maintain a professional relationship with Investors, Tenants and Vendors.
- Answer Investor questions and become a trusted advisor. This will include owner statement/accounting questions, tips on enhancing rent values, etc.
- Guide investors through the onboarding process for their property. This will include setting up the investor and property in our systems, gathering required documents like proof of insurance, etc.
- Maintain oversite of open maintenance issues at your investor’s properties to ensure they are accomplished timely and with the appropriate quality. This may include obtaining investor permission and funding to complete the maintenance.
- Meet tenants at properties to conduct evaluations, capture appliance model numbers, etc.
- Show potential tenants properties they may be interested in leasing
- Offer lease renewals to existing tenants and lead the move out process when they leave including being responsible for the financial disposition of deposits held against damages.
- Attend regular office meetings and training; maintain good communication with leadership and the rest of the team
- Positively represent the values of Real Property Management Consultants in all interactions
- Other duties as assigned – this will entail wearing a lot of hats as this small business grows to meet the needs of our clients, customers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property management or real estate administration is preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with a customer-oriented focus instilling confidence and trust
- Knowledge of fair housing regulations and experience working with Section 8 housing is a plus
- Organized, analytical and detail oriented with strong time management skills; Ability to operate independently with minimal direction from manager to accomplish assigned objectives
- Results oriented following up to ensure issues are resolved and handle conflict in a professional manner - and confidence to escalate as needed
- Bachelor's degree preferred
