Property Acquisitions Manager manages the research, analysis, and negotiating activities required to assess opportunities for acquiring additional locations, land, or buildings. Investigates potential property acquisitions or dispositions. Being a Property Acquisitions Manager performs or facilitates inspections and assessments of possible property acquisitions. Monitors market trends and competitor activities. Additionally, Property Acquisitions Manager structures and negotiates purchase or leasing agreements. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Property Acquisitions Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Property Acquisitions Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are looking for a full-time bilingual (English & Spanish) property manager for our Lakeland Florida mobile home park. The ideal person will be an experienced Property Manager who is energetic and enthusiastic with an entrepreneurial drive.
Responsibilities:
- All facets of day-to-day operations of the mobile home park.
- Collect rent, make deposits and manage evictions.
- Sales/marketing skills to fill vacancies.
- Computer proficiency (Outlook, AppFolio) with light bookkeeping.
- A people person with excellent customer service skills.
- Energetic, friendly, hospitable, always responsive to guest/tenant needs.
- Develop a sense of community.
- Cost focus: look at the business as an owner; work to eliminate costs/increase profitability.
- Ensure compliance with park rules and prospectus.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of property management/Mobile/RV Park experience.
- Previous RV/mobile home management experience a plus.
- Previous sales/marketing experience a plus.
- Ability to live on-site but not required.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, be on call.
- Driver's license
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Pass background check.
- Bilingual - English and Spanish
Compensation:
- Base salary with great benefits
- Incentives for park owned home sales
- Two weeks paid vacation and 9 paid holidays annually

Salary: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
