Property Acquisitions Associate collects, analyzes, and interprets data used to evaluate potential property acquisitions. Researches market trends. Being a Property Acquisitions Associate performs financial and risk evaluations of potential acquisitions. Conducts due diligence on properties to be acquired. Additionally, Property Acquisitions Associate assists with drafting contracts or leases and may participate in negotiations. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Property Acquisitions Associate work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Responsibilities include posting and collecting rents, maintaining the property by delegating work to staff. Renting of units, marketing any vacant units, professional relationship with residents. Preparing move ins and processing move outs. Certifying residents to meet the income restrictions of the property.
Experience with section 42, USDA, HUD helpful but not necessary.
Must have a valid driver's license, insurance and be able to pass a drug test.
Must be dependable, proactive, computer experience including word, excel, and Microfsoft teams.
