Proof Supervisor performs a variety of clerical functions relating to check processing, deposits, withdrawals, and payments. Operates a proof machine which encodes and endorses checks and deposits. Being a Proof Supervisor finds errors and makes appropriate reconciliations, adjustments, and corrections. May be responsible for batching and distribution. Additionally, Proof Supervisor requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Proof Supervisor works under moderate supervision. Supervises: Front of House (FOH) Staff (bussers, runners, servers, etc.)
General Purpose: The Restaurant Supervisor oversees the operations in the dining room, acting as second-in-command to the Restaurant Manager. As a visible and approachable presence in the restaurant, the Supervisor coordinates the activities of the servers, runners, and bussers, and proactively identifies and addresses issues and opportunities in the restaurant operation.
