    Role description:

    As a Project Manager/Project Planner your primary responsibility is to oversee and optimize the planning, scheduling and financial reporting aspects of the project. You will play a crucial role in managing costs, analyzing financial/schedule and resource data, and implementing strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of the project. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a strong foundation in project planning and coordination. The ideal candidate should be adept at resource management, particularly in terms of manpower, subcontractors, and project schedules.

    Role accountabilities:

    • Monitoring progress of projects to ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards
    • Creating and maintaining schedules for all phases of the project
    • Managing project teams consisting of design professionals, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders
    • Creating reports detailing the status of projects and highlighting any potential issues that may arise
    • Evaluate Resource Planning
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including quality control, supply chain, and sales, to optimize project outcomes.
    • Ensure sound administration and communication flow between the project team and other related parties (internal and external).
    • Prepare and review technical documentation, such as project schedules, specifications, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
    • Keep track of Project Schedule/progress and communicate with all various stakeholders from project kickoff to completion.
    • Establish contingency plans on critical activities.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
    • At least 15 years of experience in leadership roles, managing senior specialists and managerial staff within the project controls function.
    • Experience in program-level and project-level scheduling for large transportation infrastructure projects, such as rail, tunnels, stations, signal, power, and trackwork projects.

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000.
