If you want to grow your skills and develop your career, find out more at www.imerys.com The PositionProject Manager Job Summary ● Mentor other Engineers in the Team to help elevate the team to the next level ● Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs ● Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration ● Perform engineering calculations to support design work ● Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software ● Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering maintenance and operations teams, and work with vendors and contractors ● Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process ● Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget ● Have familiarity with Project management and tools ● Ensuring each project stays within the allocated budget and timeframe ● Scheduling meetings and updating status regularly ● Help maintaining Capital project approval process from start to finish developing and maintaining the budget EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: ● Bachelor's Degree - Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering ● Project Management Certification ideal, but not required ● 5 years of experience working in engineering projects for heavy process industry, as well as experience with solid handling (conveyors, piping, etc.) ● Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience in designing mechanical and electromechanical systems and products ● Ability to clearly communicate concepts and ideas ● Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills ● Positive attitude and willingness to work long hours to finish targets ● Excellent math skills: ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics to solve problems ● Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, 3D and 2D modeling tools or similar ● Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability ● Knowledge of procurement and engineering equipment and construction contracts, ideal.
