DreamYard, founded in 1994, is a Bronx-based organization that uses the arts, social justice pedagogy, and digital and connected learning to inspire youth, public schools, and communities.
3C (Create, Collaborate, and Catalyze) Data Alliance Vision, Mission, and History
The 3C Data Alliance, founded in 2019, is developing a collaborative youth voice and equity-centered Salesforce-based database on behalf of Creative Youth Development (CYD) organizations nationwide. The Alliance will share this database and the costs of development, updates, training, and support with its member organizations through a subscription model. The Alliance creates an ongoing support and advocacy network driven by this collaborative constituent relationship management system.

The Community
The 3C Data Alliance is a nationwide community of Creative Youth Development organizations. The Data Alliance Project Manager will be hosted at and supported by DreamYard, the 3C Data Alliance’s Lead Partner. DreamYard is focused in the Bronx, a borough that possesses incredible cultural, human, and economic assets.
The Position
Reporting to DreamYard Co-Executive Director Tim Lord, and working closely with the 3C Data Alliance Steering Committee, the Project Manager leads the Data and Knowledge Management (DKM) Collaborative for the 3C Data Alliance and 7 member organizations that includes an interactive technology platform aimed at advancing the Alliance’s mission and vision and network-wide DKM efforts.
The Project Manager provides strategic leadership and vision for the Alliance by:
Managing the day-to-day activities of the Alliance including the development of metrics for success, milestones, budget, professional development, and coaching
Leveraging best practices for knowledge sharing and systemic learning
Providing thought leadership and helping to raise the profile of the Alliance
Fostering and maintaining a high-performance environment to promote teamwork, effective communication, creativity, and empowerment.
The Project Manager also provides vital support to members of the collaboration through:
Consulting services and onboarding of new organizations’ teams
Managing and supporting the ongoing design and development of the Salesforce-based platform; version 1.0 is in development now.
Providing training and ongoing support for member organizations (pre-designed by North Peak, our design partners)
Collaborating as an active member of cross-organization teams, working collaboratively with member organizations’ staffs to advance program and organizational goals.
The Project Manager will also be responsible for leading the 3C Data Alliance work at DreamYard. This will include:
Supporting the program team in learning how to use and manage the 3C Data Alliance database instance at DreamYard
Convening and helping to lead the Storycatching (data collection and analysis) team at DreamYard
Maintaining DreamYard’s 3C Data Alliance systems and processes and engaging in the Alliance Community as both Project Manager and active participant
Reports to: Co-Executive Director of DreamYard Tim Lord; works closely with 3C Data Alliance Steering Committee.
Manages: The 3C Data Alliance Community, working closely with Data Project Managers at each member organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
DreamYard and Collective Salesforce Work (50%)
Manage the development and ongoing maintenance of Salesforce Packages- for DreamYard and 3C Alliance
Managing requests for new features/improvements
Release testing
Lead and facilitate 3C Data Alliance Salesforce Working Group
Convene regular meetings, up to six times a year
Manage and facilitate work and discussions between meetings, including Salesforce
vendor as needed
Assist with testing and troubleshooting new updates of the Salesforce Integration
Consulting Services (30%)
Examples of projects completed through Consulting Services can include:
Custom onboarding for new partners – Discovery, custom configuration, data migration,
and custom training for staff;
Year-long administrative support to work directly with staff and provide consultation on
process improvements, implementing customizations, and technical assistance related to
the Salesforce Platform
Manage overall project plans and timelines and keep each within budget
3C Data Alliance Community Leadership (20%)
Work closely with the Steering Committee and DreamYard Co-Executive Director to grow, support, and manage the 3C Data Alliance Community
Provide support and thought partnership on platform development and on utilizing data for community building, field-wide impact, and advocacy
Provide ongoing support and expertise to Alliance organizations

Compensation:
The 3C Data Alliance Project Manager is a hybrid, full-time, exempt position with a salary range of $70,000-$75,000 commensurate with experience. DreamYard offers an excellent benefits package, and generous paid time off.
