Job Description:

The Marketing Manager will lead our organization's marketing and outreach efforts to increase awareness of our substance use disorder treatment services, engage the community, and drive the facility's growth. This role involves developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing digital and traditional marketing campaigns, and measuring their effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of those affected by substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that includes digital, print, and community outreach efforts.
• Manage the organization's website and social media platforms, ensuring content is current, relevant, and engaging.
• Create and distribute marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and email newsletters, to promote the facility's services and events.
• Coordinate with the media to secure coverage for the organization's initiatives, success stories, and public events.
• Analyze market trends and adjust marketing strategies accordingly to reach target audiences effectively.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data to drive decisions and improve results.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, including marketing agencies, graphic designers, and print shops. This includes managing billing and invoicing process to ensure accuracy and adherence to budget.
• Work closely with the development team to support fundraising efforts and align marketing strategies with fundraising goals.
• Ensure all marketing activities are in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Lead the hiring, training, and management of marking staff, including developing clear job descriptions, conducting interviews, selecting candidates, and conducting regular performance reviews.
• Develop and manage marketing budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources across various campaigns and initiatives.
• Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing projects, ensuring alignment with organizations strategic objectives and meet set timelines and budgets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in marketing, preferably in a healthcare, nonprofit, or social services setting.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and strategies, including SEO, social media, content marketing, and email marketing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.
• Creative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in using marketing software and analytics tools.
• Passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by substance use disorders.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
• Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Additional Requirement:

• Must pass a criminal background check as required by the MN Department of Human Services.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must be free from chemical/gambling use problems for at least two (2) years.
