Project/Position Overview:
NOTE: This position is a remote/isolated location at the bottom of the Grand Canyon with somewhat spartan accommodations. The period of performance is anticipated to start beginning of February, 2024 and will consist of one base year to include four option years.
The purpose of this project is to expand existing facilities on the South and North Rim and inner-canyon of the Grand Canyon to accommodate and support the contractor during the construction of multiple projects. The project includes construction management of utility modernization and facility construction and rehabilitation efforts. There is anticipated to be five primary construction contracts.
All work performed on the facilities shall be undertaken with utmost care to ensure respect and preservation of natural and cultural resources. Work shall minimize disruption of on-going NPS operations and facility maintenance activities within the park.
This role is contingent upon award.
