Project Management Manager manages and directs the work of project managers and provides managerial oversight for multiple projects. Monitors project scopes, costs, schedules, staffing, communications, outside vendors, and contractual deliverables. Being a Project Management Manager develops standards, processes, and tools used for effective project scheduling and to set and manage quality targets. Addresses internal or vendor issues that may impede project delivery and develops solutions. Additionally, Project Management Manager tracks at risk metrics and facilitates actions to keep projects on track.     Purpose of Job:  The Nurse Manager will oversee the nursing and medical assistant team and provide clinical leadership in a community health clinic setting.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Triage all overflow patient calls when needed.
    • Develop and implement nursing care plans, standing orders and protocols that adhere to best practices and regulatory standards.
    • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless delivery of services.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments of nursing practices to maintain high standards of care.
    • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers.
    • Participate in developing and implementing health education programs for the community.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
    • Act as a liaison between the nursing team and other departments within the clinic.
    • Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons to facilitate care requirements under the Patient Medical Home Model
    • Oversee and lead the medical assistants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure quality care delivery.
    • Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families using “Sacred Hospitality”.
    • Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments
    • Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies and consultation with key medical staff.
    • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations and supervises nursing staff to meet these goals.
    • Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations
    • Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records with EHR system (Greenway Intergy EHR, ProviderOne, Child Profile, etc.)
    • Ensures equipment operation by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
    • Ensures & oversees equipment sanitization is completed by the medical assistants.
    • Maintains nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
    • Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information, responding to requests, building rapport, and participating in team problem-solving methods and conflict resolution.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.





    Qualifications

    This position requires the following qualifications to perform the above duties and carry out the above responsibilities:

    1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    2. Current state Registered Nurse license
    3. Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification
    1. Can work in a team environment, both in leadership and peer relationships
    2. Has strong working knowledge of multicultural communities, including Indian culture, Indian Country, social service systems, and community resources
    3. Has demonstrated vital proofreading and editing skills with excellent grammatical skills
    4. Can capably operate a variety of office equipment, such as a computer, photocopier, scanner, printer, etc.
    5. Can use Microsoft Word or other word processing programs and can be trained to use other software programs, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Greenway/Intergy, Washington Connections, and Provider One.
    6. Can move 25-30 lb. items, sit for extended periods and handle stress
    7. Can travel locally
    8. Maintain patient records containing pertinent, accurate, and current information in compliance with the Privacy Act, HIPAA, and RCW/WAC policy, procedures, and rules.
    9. Uses “Sacred Hospitality” in serving patients and peers.
    10. Possesses critical working knowledge of current Evidence-Based Practices and supports recovery-based lifestyles and patient outcomes
    11. Can successfully pass a criminal background check, OIG check, and a pre-employment UA/BA.


    Physical Demands
    Registered nurses are required to stand, sit, and be mobile one-third to two-thirds of the time. They are required to use their hands to finger, handle, or feel over two-thirds of the time, as well as reach with their hands and arms. Climbing or balancing occurs less than one-third of the time, while stooping, kneeling, or crouching occurs between one-third and two-thirds of the day. Communicating by talking or hearing occurs two-thirds of the day. Time spent lifting or exerting force is about 50% for up to 10 pounds and less than one-third of the time for up to 25 pounds. Rarely is there a need to lift more than 26-30 pounds.
