SanStone Health & Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Triad/Coastal Regional Director of Facilities Management to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.
The Regional Director of Facilities Management will oversee multiple skilled nursing facilities’ improvement projects and maintenance responsibilities in the Greensboro, Raleigh, and surrounding areas. A qualified candidate must be self-motivated and have experience in facility maintenance and construction with knowledge in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire protection, emergency power, low voltage, life safety compliance, building code compliance, ADA compliance, and HUD compliance. This individual must possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact well with residents, families, staff, and vendors.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Manage facility renovation projects and repairs throughout assigned territory.
· Perform renovation or maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor.
· Partner with contractors and vendors to ensure safety and quality compliance of improvement projects and facility maintenance.
· Oversee, audit, and provide education on life safety to ensure compliance with life safety, fire code, and other regulatory requirements as it relates to SanStone.
· Implement & review preventative maintenance schedules for HVAC, boilers, generators, fire suppression, and other mechanical systems.
· Audit assigned facilities routinely for company facility standards compliance and provide reports of findings to the facility Administrator.
· Inspect maintenance shops and on-site storage to ensure they are maintained in a safe and orderly fashion.
· Provide support, training, and guidance to directors of maintenance at assigned facilities.
· Be available as a second recourse to on call maintenance should a facility emergency arise.
· Attend weekly team meetings with department staff to review projects, priorities, schedules, etc.
