Must be a registered professional engineer (PE)
Bachelor's degree required in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering
Physical ability to travel to the field to monitor and troubleshoot equipment
Stand for extended periods of time during manufacturing and field support roles
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 12 years of experience in the design of complex, engineered-to-order, mechanical systems
Proficient user of mathematical worksheet software (e.g. Excel, Mathcad)
Advanced working knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD
Understanding of Finite Element Analysis software
Preferred Skills:
Experience in oilfield engineering
Design experience
People management skills
Experience with bespoke engineered-to-order projects
FEA analysis knowledge
Job Responsibilities:
Provide oversight and direction directly to staff engineers and designers
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of engineering deliverables
Monitor production estimates and work with teams to ensure reasonable delivery timelines are met
Ensure design, engineering, testing protocols meet customer specifications & quality expectations
Responsible for technical support required for internal or remote manufacturing
Improve engineering systems, processes & policies continuously
Act as point-of-contact for queries with auditors & participate in financial planning
Engage in troubleshooting, technical support & customer service after sales
