Project Engineering Manager jobs in Boulder, CO

Project Engineering Manager plans and directs all design engineers, drafters, and technical engineers working on specific projects. Manages the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex designs. Being a Project Engineering Manager oversees product construction and testing in order to ensure completion of projects as efficiently and effectively as possible. Evaluates and approves changes that substantially impact the scope, budget, or schedule of a project. Additionally, Project Engineering Manager monitors progress and performance against the project plan. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Project Engineering Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Qualifications (aka this role is a fit for you if):
    If I say DEI or refer to using an “equity lens” you know what I’m talking about and care deeply about this work.
    You are comfortable coordinating projects with other team members and managing projects to support a timely delivery. This role includes using the CRM platform Trello and keeping things organized.
    You excel at using social media platforms to promote visibility of the company’s work, especially Instagram and LinkedIn. You’re able to schedule posts using a 3rd party tool like Planoly. Making reels is fun for you.
    You have some working knowledge of Wordpress and are able to update blog and podcast posts. If you don’t know how to do it, you’ll ask or learn before you mess around too much in the back end.
    You love systems and making sure everything is done in an orderly fashion. You can create systems that improve the company’s efficiency. Checking off tasks makes you weirdly happy.
    You have some visual marketing skills. You can make simple graphics using Unsplash and Canva.
    You get things done when you say you will . You’re the on-time type.
    Technology doesn’t frighten you. If you don’t know how to do something, you figure it out quickly and effectively. You’re a super Googler.
    You’re fast but thorough. Spelling mistakes make you cringe.
    You don’t get bogged down in technical or creative rabbit holes. You figure things out.
    You can work independently without too much hand-holding as long as you have clear instructions.

    Responsibilities:PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
    Project manage the content calendar each month : including newsletter, social media, podcast, and blog. We write the newsletter. You format and schedule it for distribution in Mailchimp.
    Podcast coordination with our editor.
    Social media schedule
    Support a large client project delivery schedule, as needed. (ex. Slide decks and handouts review)
    MARKETING
    Repurpose content in meaningful and strategic way, and learning our voice to create fresh content that supports business goals.
    Make the newsletter into a blog on the company website and then share on LinkedIn and Instagram.
    Social media execution: Create two week batches of social content for approval, then schedule them into Planoly.
    Update the design of my newsletter template in Mailchimp
    OTHER
    Creative brainstorming and thought partnership as new projects emerge
