Project Engineer - Construction provides technical oversight, review, and engineering analysis of construction projects to ensure compliance with time, budget, quality, and regulatory requirements. Reviews and approves specifications, designs, bids, contracts, drawings, change orders, and progress reports. Being a Project Engineer - Construction monitors project progress. Identifies and assesses engineering project risks, and develops mitigation strategies and solutions. Additionally, Project Engineer - Construction facilitates collaboration among project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Typically reports to a manager. The Project Engineer - Construction work is closely managed. Assists with overall management direction to one or more projects. Communicates detailed work responsibilities to subcontractors and supervises for conformance. Establishes, reviews, and acts upon changes in schedules, costs, and quality of work and assists in purchasing and estimating, as well as mentoring Co-Ops.

Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook is required. Primavera/Oracle scheduling, Sage Timberline, AutoCAD, and Viewpoint are a plus.
Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to proficiently perform duties with little supervisory guidance.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Motor Vehicle report required.
LEED certification is a plus.
PE certification is a plus.
Light or low amount of physical exertion. Limited manual dexterity or physical manipulation. Minimal or low level of physical stamina and endurance. Maintain regular and punctual attendance, work overtime as assigned, travel overnight as required, drive long distances, work in cold, hot, dusty, loud environments, and comply with all company policies and procedures including safety.
