Project Controls Manager
Role Context:
As a Project Controls Manager at Worley, your primary responsibility is to take care of and unlock the brilliance from your team. You will collaborate with project teams to develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics. Your role is essential in ensuring effective project delivery and client satisfaction, aligning with Worley's commitment to excellence in the energy, chemical, and infrastructure sectors.
You'll be:
· Acting as a 'hands on' manager by taking a lively interest in all activities of the work relating to the Project accounting, Cost estimating, Cost control, Project planning, Project document administration, and Systems.
· Leading cost engineering initiatives, overseeing the implementation of cost control systems, invoice processing, monthly reporting, and financial analysis, ensuring effective management of funding budgets and cash flows.
· Leading development of project and/or portfolio specific PC execution strategies, whilst fostering seamless integration between estimating, cost control, planning/scheduling, and risk management functions to optimize project outcomes.
· Managing planning & scheduling activities including development of summary and detailed project schedules, progress and performance monitoring, schedule deviations and workaround solutions; plans and manages the execution of internal audits of critical commercial internal control systems.
You'll have:
· Experience as a leader and line manager in a project organization.
· Experience in industrial construction and/or maintenance field or required specializing in project controls with training in financial management techniques (or equivalent).
· Experience on oil/gas and petrochemical capital projects & Turnarounds.
· Working knowledge and skills in the use of software such as Primavera planning/scheduling, cost control program Ecosys and estimating programs such as Aspen and/or Cleopatra.
· Demonstrated experience and working understanding of project CP planning and scheduling, cost control and cost estimating.
· Demonstrated capability to lead a group responsible for control of planning, scheduling, cost control and cost estimating activities
