Additionally, Project Controls Manager provides guidance and consultation to project managers. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Project Controls Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     What you’ll do:

    The Security Project Manager plans, directs and coordinates activities of the project team to ensure that the goals and objectives of their projects are accomplished on time, implemented at or below the estimated cost and to the customer’s satisfaction.

    • Supervise and direct project team during planning, estimating, design, installation, start-up, commissioning, turnover and warranty of assigned projects.
    • Provide leadership, vision and direction for assigned employees including performance reviews, development and other activities.
    • Participate in pre-bid reviews and sales to operations turnover meetings.
    • Manage the development of project plans in advance of project activity assuring effective execution by the project team. Prepare and updates project schedule and cost estimates.
    • Coordinate and provide direction for the budget estimating, purchasing, engineering, accounting, cost and construction functions as they relate to project completion. Oversee equipment procurement.
    • Monitor progress to assure compliance with the pre-determined execution plan. Utilize financial and monthly forecasting tools to monitor, manage and control costs.

    Who you are:

    • You have a strong work ethic, take pride in your workmanship, collaborate well with others, and have a continuous desire to learn
    • Prefer 4 year degree in a construction related curriculum or experience equivalent to a 4-year degree
    • 3-5 years hands on Project Management experience or at least 5 years of construction related experience
    • Advanced understanding of access control systems, IP video systems, intercoms, and intrusion systems
    • Demonstrated competency in estimating, scheduling, budgeting/cost control, field supervision, financial reporting, client relationships, interpersonal skills, computer skills, safety/risk management and communication skills
    • Strong leadership skills including team leading, employee mentoring and development and the ability to empower others through delegating responsibility

    Reports to Senior Program Manager

    Salary: $110 - 130K plus incentives (Based on experience)
