Position Summary:
ARB Inc is currently looking for a Project Controls Manger for our Fairfield, CA office location. The PCM is responsible for managing project accounting and collaborating with corporate accounting to report accurate financial information.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all Cost Control & Schedule functions for Gas Distribution projects across Northern California.
- Break down project estimates & allocate budgets to a standard code of accounts.
- Develop, maintain, and manage project progress reporting, including all financial and earned value reporting, in accordance with the contract and business requirements.
- Supervises the cost efforts of the project to include guidance and oversight of the cost management system, preparation of cost report templates, and issuance of monthly cost and change management report deliverables.
- Oversee the scheduling efforts for all projects to include the preparation of baseline schedules, schedule analysis and project progress reporting.
- Provides primary daily point of contact to Division Manager, Vice-Presidents, and Director of Project Controls.
- Supervise, train, and develop a staff of project control employees.
- Attend client meetings and produce client requested reports.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting/Finance, Project Management.
- 7 years of Project Control experience in Construction and preference given for experience in Gas Distribution.
- PMP Certification desirable.
- Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in Excel, MS Office, Primavera and/or MS Project, Ecosys, Viewpoint, and Document Control programs.
- Effective communication (both oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Understands job costing.
- Self-disciplined, motivated, able to work with limited direct supervision, self-sufficient problem solver.
- Able to manage a team of professionals.
- Able to quickly adjust to changing priorities.

Salary: $140k-175k Medical, Dental, 401k.
