    POSITION SUMMARY:

    This position will be responsible for the maintenance and management of all systems and networks at Project HOPE and its field offices globally. Install, configure, and monitor all servers, software/applications and network equipment. Manage and support Office 365 and Azure cloud, and on-prem environments. Recommend, plan and deploy upgrades to applications, systems and networks. Provide technical support and training to end-users. This is a hybrid work environment.

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide remote and onsite support to end-users, and be an escalation point for tier-two helpdesk technicians, including 24/7 support.
    • Provide 24/7 support and maintenance of all servers, routers, switches, and firewalls. Configure remote firewall and VPN devices for field offices globally.
    • Plan, deploy and upgrade servers and applications, and network and telephony as required for optimal performance. Make recommendations for new purchases and new systems.
    • Monitor all on-prem and cloud servers, NAS and network equipment to ensure availability and reliability to minimize interruptions and downtime. Perform proactive maintenance using tools to monitor servers, applications and networks at various levels of operation.
    • Assist in the security patching of servers, desktop computers, laptops and network equipment, by using patching tools.
    • Design, build and support SharePoint sites, including providing training to the end user.
    • Maintain server data backup operations to provide disaster recovery and business continuity for the organization.
    • Interface with software and hardware vendors to resolve issues, including ISPs to repair wide area networks.
    • Apply industry standard security practices to ensure that all systems and networks are in compliance.
    • Other duties and projects as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Four to Six (4-6) plus years of experience in server software and hardware - VMware virtualization software (vSphere, ESXi), including NetApp NAS and SAN storage.
    • Four to Six (4-6) plus years of experience in Windows Server 2016 - 2022 (Active Directory, IIS, DFS, NPS, DNS/DHCP, GPO), Exchange Online, SQL Server, SharePoint Online, Antivirus, and Backup software. Experience with Windows desktop client operating systems (Windows 10 and Windows 11) and Office applications (Office 365).
    • Four to Six (4-6) plus years of experience in Network equipment - Cisco and Meraki Firewalls, switches, routers and wireless access points, including experience with VPNs, VoIP and Microsoft Teams.
    • Technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, etc.) preferred.
    • Well organized, strong client service mindset, effective written and verbal communication skills, and extremely detail orientated.
    • 24x7 availability/on-call to provide as needed emergency support, and also may require travel to field offices.

    Salary range starting at $84,000 USD per year based on candidates residing in the US. Compensation for the role is dependent on several factors including a candidate's location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
