Position Summary
The Clinical Services Supervisor will assist the STD/HIV/Hepatitis Program (SHHP) of the Louisiana Office of Public Health (OPH) in overseeing the statewide coordination and implementation of Ryan White Part B and ADAP funded HIV Clinical Services programs and activities. At a minimum, this position will lead program development, business development, team management, and other operational functions for the Rapid Treatment Initiative (RTI) program, the provision of direct HIV Medical Services, and all contracts for Home Health and Home/Community Based Services. The role will report to the HIV Services Manager. The candidate will be responsible for the successful design, development, and delivery of high-quality services to eligible clients and the strengthening of a comprehensive system of care for people living with HIV. The incumbent will also actively participate in supporting the development of Community Advisory Boards (CABs) throughout the state and routinely seek feedback and input on current and proposed clinical services. This position will oversee and monitor the work of coordinators, program monitors, and clinicians responsible for the various Clinical Services programs within the SHHP Services Unit. In addition, the position will be responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of new HIV Clinical Services programs that will improve the overall health and HIV treatment outcomes of people living with HIV in Louisiana, as funding allows or becomes available. This position will develop and implement project management tools and processes to coordinate responsibilities and deliverables across the team’s staff, partners, and other functions, including finance, legal and compliance, and participant and community engagement. In coordination with team leadership, the position will also manage strategic efforts related to stakeholder engagement and partnership development to advance growth. The position is responsible for assuring adherence to all related Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Ryan White Part B Monitoring Standards, and the relevant Goals/Objectives outlined in the Louisiana Ending the HIV Epidemic Plan (EtE)/Louisiana HIV/AIDS Strategy (LHAS) and the National HIV/AIDS Strategy (NHAS). The incumbent will work collaboratively and actively participate and support the statewide and regional HIV/STD planning processes including EtE, LHAS and Fast Track Cities initiatives occurring in Louisiana in capacities related to enhancing or improving HIV clinical services for people living with HIV.
