Program Supervisor coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Responsible for aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts. Being a Program Supervisor develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules and develops solutions to program problems. Additionally, Program Supervisor recommends changes to improve process efficiency and alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Program Supervisor contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. This is a part-time position responsible for supervising the care and safety of children ages 6-18 at department facilities.

SUPERVISORY CONTROLS
The Recreation Program Coordinator and/or Assistant Recreation Programs Coordinator assign work in terms of detailed and specific instructions. The supervisor spot-checks work in progress and upon completion for accuracy, adequacy, and adherence to instructions and established guidelines.

This position has direct supervision over seasonal staff.
SAMPLE WORK SCHEDULE
School days: 30 hours week
12:00pm – 6:00pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
9:00am – 6:00pm, Tuesday & Thursday
Non-school days: (winter, spring, fall, summer breaks, and school holidays)
During summer break and some non-school days, work hours may increase to 49 hours week.
Monday through Friday, 8 to 9 hours a day between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm.
