Being a Program Supervisor develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules and develops solutions to program problems. Additionally, Program Supervisor recommends changes to improve process efficiency and alleviate process inaccuracy and duplication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Program Supervisor contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. We are looking for a DTA Supervisor to join our team and work with our members who have issues completing daily activities due to mental, physical and mobility issues. Person with Assistant Supervisor or DCP lead experience will be considered, however a person with experience running a DTA center is preferred.

    Typical day will entail

    Transporting 1-3 clients to and from DTA, Setting up events/maintain records/ 2 teaching topics per day. etc. Interacting with members and assisting Leadership and other DCP staff and clients

    Responsibilities on location at main center , include performing housekeeping , assisting members with cooking meals and taking care of personal hygiene needs throughout the day. Ultimately, you will work directly with members in our care to ensure they can complete daily tasks and errands. Hope and Grace is an innovative day program for adults with special needs founded by a group of parents and educators. Our mission is to provide a safe learning environment with a unique individualized approach that builds and enriches each member’s potential.     Job Responsibilities include:

    · Provide standard supervision to staff members utilizing a variety of supervisory methodologies. · Manage and problem solve daily and crisis situations with program staff and clients.

    · Maintain record training and be able to train new staff and maintain ability to assist staff and clients with questions and concerns.

    · Review all treatment records and reports pertaining to the treatment and the rendering of services to clients and provide direction for documentation improvement.

    · Managing staff and department within span of control, including but not limited to: making recommendations with particular weight as to the interviewing, selecting, hiring, and termination of staff; setting and adjusting hours of work; on-boarding and training staff; directing work and assignments; appraising and evaluation of staff work performance; handling of staff complaints and grievances; and disciplining employees.

    · Responsible for designing and maintaining operations including monthly Calender, and curriculum of STEM projects for daily topics. Monitor the implementation and adherence to the established initiatives, activities and policies.

    · Maintain consistent and organized systems to ensure staff are maintaining their credentials and training hours.

    · Maintain at minimum monthly supervision with staff.

    · Assess daily all client needs and assign priorities and direct provide service when indicated.

    · Completes documentation, referrals, and other required paperwork as required.

    · Provide day-to-day supervision of staff; other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    · Must have a minimum of Bachelors degree in social work, psychology, or counseling or 5-7 years experience as a Supervisor at another Adult Training (DTA)

    · Must have at least one (7) year experience in ID/DD field to include but limit examining, evaluating and support adults with intellectual and developmental disability diagnoses and utilizing relevant treatment modalities.

    General Responsibilities: - Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities - Ensure the rights and dignity of Members are respected and upheld

    Assist Members with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration - Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and social skills - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including social workers, nurses, and behavior analysts - Maintain a clean and safe living environment for Members

    Skills: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with Members, families, and colleagues

    Must pass all background checks and state requirements. Clean driving record.

    Job will involve transporting members to and from DTA center in Company Car or POV (allowance will be given for Personal Owned Vehicle )other driving duties to include; transport Members to appointments or community activities - Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities, Downs, MS, Epilepsy etc. - Familiarity with medication administration protocols and documentation - Basic first aid knowledge for handling medical emergencies - Understanding of behavior management techniques and strategies

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
