Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan is currently hiring a Senior Service Coordinator to serve in our impactful Family Self Sufficiency Program.
FSS is employment-focused, our team works with low-income families , including section 8 tenants to increase their earnings. We do an assessment and develop an action plan , our team works to improve participant education, credit , find resources for health and dental care.
This position will support 4 properties; Manitowoc, Two Rivers, Sheboygan, and Sheboygan Falls. The main location will be 1551 S 35th St. in Manitowoc.
Pay for this role is based on experience and will be between $20-23 an hour.
This is a 36 hour role a week, the role is benefit eligible.
As the principal front-line staff responsible for implementation, FSS program coordinators are the backbone of the FSS program. FSS coordinators coach program participants, conduct needs assessments, provide referrals to services and trainings, and help participants stay on track to achieve their goals. FSS coordinators also maintain program records, build partnerships with service providers, report on program outcomes, and perform other tasks as required.

The incumbent of this position must have a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation to perform the essential duties of the role; a motor vehicle check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record per the LSS Driver Safety Procedure is required, and ability to meet LSS auto insurance requirements.
TRAVEL: Day to day travel in the community or between sites may be required with some travel within the state for agency meetings, networking and training with external agencies. May include occasional overnight stays.
