Program Manager - Social Service manages and administers the day to day operations of residential or community-based programs. Hires and trains staff that provide patient care. Being a Program Manager - Social Service ensures service delivery meets quality standards. Acts as a liaison with internal and external parties. Additionally, Program Manager - Social Service requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a director. HOURS: Full-time or part-time hours available in the summer and over school holidays. Program hours are from 7am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. Hours within that timeframe are negotiable. Non-benefitted position.

RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Here4Youth Summer Program Assistant, you will aid in preparing for and implementing daily activities with the students.
Here4Youth is a childcare program unlike any other in South Dakota. You will have access to high quality training to serve special needs children and a front row seat to the varying needs in this community. If you’re looking for experience serving all ages in childcare, Here4Youth is the place for you! Summer Program Assistants at Here4Youth are self starters who participate in games, read with students, and teach them simple, fun, and enriching activities. We spend time meeting students, and seeing where they are at developmentally, emotionally, and relationally. You will gain knowledge of how to provide personal care to students and light cleaning of areas to ensure sanitary conditions. This position has some responsibilities in maintaining daily paperwork such as attendance records. Staff are required to attend in-service training as needed by licensing and the program.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED required; plus 3 months of childcare experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be at least 18 years of age and have (or be willing to obtain) training and experience necessary to develop supportive relationships with young children with special needs. This position must successfully complete all agency background checks. The preferred candidate will have a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain approved driver status.
