The Program Manager of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) is a key member of the EHS team responsible for assessing, designing, and driving the implementation as well as continuous improvement of programs that drive organizational and employee EHS practices and policies across AVANGRID.
The position is located in Orange, CT with occasional travel to all service area locations.
MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conduct organization/systems/process reviews, assessments, and continuous improvement implementations
2. Conceptualize and execute the strategic initiatives, collaborating across the EHS team and the business to ensure alignment and buy-in
3. Drive cross-cutting strategic initiatives that drive operational excellence
4. Keep up to date on latest trends and innovations related to employee experience, continuous improvement, and organizational performance
5. Bring cross-functional groups together to build consensus, collaborate on solutioning, and execute implementation of strategic initiatives
