Program Manager (Non-Profit) manages a team that coordinates the programs of a non-profit organization. Designs and implements programs that support the organization's mission, vision, and goals. Being a Program Manager (Non-Profit) monitors program operations for quality, efficiency and effectiveness. Utilizes a client relationship management (CRM) or another system to organize information and facilitate outreach communications, perform forecasting, and measure the performance of programs. Position Summary: Provide Case Management and advocacy by actively supporting the client’s self-identified goals and providing domestic violence education to Non-Residential Clients. Facilitating goal oriented individual and group life and social skills education to survivors of domestic violence.
Hours: As assigned, 8:30 am-5:30 pm Monday-Friday, weekends and off hours are required

Essential Duties:
Direct Client Services:
· Provide case management to Non-residential clients who are seeking advocacy and domestic violence education.
· Provide or assist in providing advocacy and referrals to clients by actively helping them to access
necessary services utilizing community resources and partnerships.
· Provide one-on-one and group Domestic Violence education including parenting, health, hygiene, financial and life skills issues.
· Assist and advocate for clients as necessary with legal and immigration issues, including completing
and filing protective order petitions.
· Assist clients in completing and filing protective order applications
· Assist clients in obtaining legal representation and to accompany clients at trials or court hearings as necessary.
· Cover service assessments.
· On call coverage to support NR clients.
· Assist clients with accessing other services within the agency and other agency partners.
· Provide all services in an empathic manner, providing guidance, motivation and encouragement according to trauma-informed guided principles.
Outreach Education:
· Provide educational presentations on domestic violence issues to community organizations and groups.
· Network with and provide awareness to community providers, law enforcement and judiciary, city,
state and federal legislators, and the public on behalf of domestic violence populations.
· Provide support to community providers, law enforcement school personnel and the public on behalf of domestic violence victims.
· Cultivate partnerships with community stakeholders to establish consistent on-going support groups in project areas as well as educate on the dynamics of domestic violence.
· Maintain monthly calendars that reflect presentations requested and offered.
Administrative Duties:
· Compile data and complete all required documentation in a timely manner, to include monthly and quarterly reports.
· Maintain compliance with funder requirements in delivering services and completing all required documentation and maintaining organized and completed client files.
· Maintain accurate client electronic files by creating client files and uploading all necessary documentation to meet program requirements.
· Provide training and educational presentations to volunteers and new staff.
· Provide back-up coverage for front desk, take messages, donations and schedule new clients as needed.
Training:
· Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings.
· Ongoing professional development including keeping abreast of recent trends and developments regarding domestic violence and advocacy as they pertain to the clients served by La Casa.
· Attend seminars and trainings approved by supervisor.
Additional Duties:
· Ability to drive agency vehicle on a daily basis.
· Work with Event Manager in seeking donations from community organizations for NR and organization events.
· Participate with others in planning events, setting up and picking up event table materials
· Assist shelter staff during crisis when accepting crisis clients over the weekend
· Handle walk-ins and callers with crisis assessments, safety plans and educating clients of Crime Victim Compensation
· Cover a shelter shift quarterly and cover additional shelter shifts as needed
· Other duties as assigned.
Expectations:
· Promote excellent internal and external customer service at all times.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social work, or a closely related field.
· Experience: A minimum of one (1) year full-time (can be volunteer or paid) advocacy experience in domestic violence or related field.
· Substitution of education/experience: Is allowed on a one for one year basis.
· Language: Bilingual in Spanish/English is highly desirable.
· Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
· Insurance Requirements: Must be at least 25 years of age per agency driving policy.
· Other: (e.g., post-offer drug/alcohol screen, TB test, background check, driver’s license record
· Warm, empathic, and non-judgmental with demonstrated ability to maintain healthy boundaries with clients and staff.
