Program Manager coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Negotiates and prepares contracts by considering the financial conditions, resources, and contractual requirements. Being a Program Manager develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Additionally, Program Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Prepares proposals to win new programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a department head. The Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Summary:

    The Program Manager (PM) will oversee and manage the manufacturing operations and account management team for the client and be responsible for maintaining the contingent labor on site at the levels specified in the client contract.  PM will serve as the primary liaison with staffing managers to provide needs for contract on an ongoing basis.  The Program Manager will provide project management to meet the client requirements in contract as well as to meet all incentive KPIs. They will be responsible for management of work production, safety and quality on the client site. Client management, Team Management and Reporting will be crucial in this role. 



    Qualification Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field.
    • Manufacturing/Plan Management Background preferred
    • Ability to effectively communicate with and respond to all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and solve problems.
    • Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Experience developing recruiting metrics and service level agreements (SLAs) to meet needs of client contract.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong relationship-building skills.
    • Proven negotiation and influencing skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Familiar with relevant contingent workforce legislation (including co-employment, overtime, etc.).
    • Follow up with managers to ensure contract success and to counteract issues.
    • Ensure all employee records for performance, training, safety, certification etc. are maintained by account management staff.
    • Problem resolution for any variances from the predefined service delivery requirements.
    • Provide regular and ad-hoc operational reports and trend analysis on program parameters
    • Assist in the development and definition of processes, documentation of processes, scorecards, project plans, etc.

     

     

    Work Environment:

    • Normal office/manufacturing conditions apply for this position: normal heating and cooling temperatures, operation of basic office machinery (copy machine, computers, and scanners), and normal exposure to noise such as office machinery, telephones and equipment in a distribution or manufacturing floor PPE will be provided as needed on the manufacturing floor.
