Program Manager coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Negotiates and prepares contracts by considering the financial conditions, resources, and contractual requirements. Being a Program Manager develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Additionally, Program Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Job Summary
The Program Manager is primarily responsible for planning and implementing programs for girls in grades K-12 in one of the following core areas: life skills and travel, outdoors and day camp, STEM, or Girl Scouts Beyond Bars. This position is accountable for integrated management and coordination of all program delivery and support services in designated content, grade level, or geographic areas in and/or across multiple pathways. The manager ensures that program development and implementation support the council’s program plan and strategic business goals, maintains strict adherence to safety and security guidelines, promotes the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and outcomes, and/or links to national program curricula. The Program Manager works in a variety of settings at Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma and may be employed in the following programs – Life skills Pillar and Girl Travel Program, STEM Pillar, Outdoors Pillar and Day Camp Program, or the Girl Scouts Beyond Bars Program. The essential functions may vary to some degree from one program to another, as well as the different environments where duties are performed.
