Program Manager coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Negotiates and prepares contracts by considering the financial conditions, resources, and contractual requirements. Being a Program Manager develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Additionally, Program Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Prepares proposals to win new programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a department head. The Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Nest Managers is looking for a full-time Service Technician to join their team. The Service Technician handles all phases of maintenance relating to the completion of work orders, preparation of homes for occupancy and implementation of preventative maintenance programs.

    Qualifications

    • Must be 18 or older
    • No felonies within the past 7 years
    • Be friendly, respectful, and punctual
    • Must provide basic tools
    • Two to five years’ experience in this field
    • Strong knowledge of heat pump, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and carpentry
    • HVAC certification a plus; must have or be willing to obtain a Certified Pool Operator license
    • Pleasing personality and ability to work with and understand the problems and attitudes of residents
    • Good mechanical skills
    • Good organizational skills and interest and enthusiasm for the job
    • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

    Responsibilities

    • The Service Technician handles all phases of maintenance relating to the completion of work orders, preparation of homes for occupancy and implementation of preventative maintenance programs
    • Assists supervisor with the quality and efficiency of turning vacant homes into make ready homes in a timely manner.
    • Completes all work orders within a 24-hour time frame
    • Adheres to all personnel directives and safety requirements
    • Reports any hazardous, emergency, or unusual situations that could possibly be a violation of company policy
    • Works in residential homes and outdoors
    • Works under moderate supervision
    • Frequently moves about to coordinate work
