Program Manager coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Negotiates and prepares contracts by considering the financial conditions, resources, and contractual requirements. Being a Program Manager develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Additionally, Program Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Prepares proposals to win new programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a department head. The Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Description:

    Sanford Federal Inc. is currently seeking an experienced and qualified individual for the position of Program Manager. As Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the performance of work related to aviation training programs. You will act as representative of the vendor and will have full authority to make decisions and handle daily operations of the assigned project.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership and direction in planning, directing, coordinating, monitoring, and managing contracts specific to aviation training programs.
    • Exercise full authority to act for Sanford Federal Inc. on all Project matters pertaining to daily operation.
    • Supervise technical personnel to ensure completion of tasks related to complex problem-solving, aviation maintenance and training activities, cost-effectiveness analyses, and systems management.
    • Organize, plan, analyze, and conduct multiple sub-task activities simultaneously.
    • Assess the quality of Project products, identify risks, and implement modifications as necessary.
    • Ensure access to timely corporate resources for Project support.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in planning, directing, coordinating, monitoring, and managing contracts specifically related to aviation training programs.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Army Aviation or equivalent experience in another branch of military service.
    • Experience in supervising technical personnel to complete tasks relating to complex problem-solving, aviation maintenance and training activities, cost-effectiveness analyses, and systems management.
    • Proven experience in quality assessment of Project products, risk identification, and modification.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
