Job Description: The Director of Event Management is responsible for overseeing the entire events department. This includes directing, training and managing the event team to achieve budgeted revenue goals while providing strong leadership and maintaining company standards.
The Director of Event Management demonstrates outstanding leadership coupled with sales skills. He/she will have the proven ability to develop a strong team, produce revenue for the hotel, and uphold high personal performance standards. This individual should display strong analytical, organizational, and administrative skills with attention to detail, leading by example. The Director must be a hands-on manager who is a creative, innovative self-starter who has the ability to analyze and resolve any challenges.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree preferred; however, any combination of education and training within hotel sales may also be considered. Minimum 5 years hotel/catering sales preferred in a property of 200 rooms or more. Experience in a 4-diamond, branded facility preferred.
