Program Management Office Director directs and oversees the Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure programs and projects meet organization goals and requirements. Develops and implements PMO processes and policies, directs project management staff, and works with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs. Being a Program Management Office Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Program Management Office Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIOINS:

5 years of professional experience in a human services program providing vocational/employment- oriented guidance to people disadvantaged youth or individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
Preferred experience:
Experience supervising people with developmental disabilities enrolled in vocational/employment-oriented programs. This experience should include the following functions: recruitment of participants, assessment and selection of candidates, development of community job opportunities, networking with businesses, job training, classroom instruction, job coaching, counseling and community advocacy for employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities.
