RESPONSIBILITIES: The Program Director is responsible for providing oversight and direction for a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) program that serves youth ages 10-17 that have experienced trauma, have juvenile justice involvement, or have challenging behavioral needs that cannot be addressed in the community. The Program Director is responsible for the following: overseeing and reporting on daily operations, including facilities management; providing supervision and training to case management staff, direct care staff, and nursing staff; building and maintaining collaborative relationships with partner agencies; developing and monitoring annual budgets; ensuring compliance with licensing and other regulatory standards; and being a liaison in the community.
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills for a variety of audiences, ability to diplomatically handle sensitive situations, a caring and professional demeanor with sensitivity to special needs and cultural differences, reasoning and problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively manage program operations. A relevant Bachelor’s Degree, along with 4 years of related experience is the minimum requirement for all Director positions.
Must successfully complete all agency background checks. Requires valid driver’s license and ability to obtain approved driver status.
