Program Director (Non-Profit) develops the programs and teams to fulfill the mission, vision, and goals of a non-profit organization. Designs policies, procedures, and strategies to meet program objectives. Being a Program Director (Non-Profit) oversees program operations and leads and coordinates the activities of program teams and partners. Utilizes data-driven analysis and forecasting to measure and evaluate the performance of programs. Additionally, Program Director (Non-Profit) develops budgets and may manage the grant proposal process. Organizes and oversees fundraising and community outreach events. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an executive. The Program Director (Non-Profit) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Program Director (Non-Profit) typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • We’re looking for a highly motivated and skilled Kids Director at Heritage Church, to help launch HC Kids at our new portable campus in the Fall of 2024. This person will have a love for Jesus and for reaching kids with the hope of Jesus! You’ll lead teams of volunteer small group leaders, teachers, setup team, and more. You’ll also help lead and execute events for families in the community.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Create and run the Sunday HC Kids program
    • Organize and manage various events, gatherings, and social activities that encourage kids and parents to connect with one another.
    • Create social media content, emails and other communications to parents and volunteers
    • Build strong, background checked volunteer teams who are trained and equipped to serve weekly
    • Coordinate large outreach efforts into the local community
    • Maintain accurate records of attendance, feedback, and outcomes from events and special projects for evaluation and future improvement

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Strong desire to foster genuine connections and a sense of belonging within the church community
    • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing events, from conceptualization to implementation
    • Demonstrated experience in growing ministries and volunteer teams
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to speak publicly and lead teams
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Capacity to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Committed follower of Jesus
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word (Pages, Google Docs, etc.), or other software necessary to complete projects at a professional level
    • Some level of Bible training
    • Proficient in social media like Instagram, Facebook, Youtube and more!
    • Possess a fun, outgoing, creative, problem-solving personality
    • Prior experience in event planning or community outreach is desirable

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

    Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

    Education:

    • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
