Job Overview: The Nonprofit Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing the function of Hungry 4 Change and its team. Working closely with staff and volunteers, the Coordinator implements strategies to assist low-income communities, contributing significantly to Hungry 4 Change's client service and strategic initiatives. This position involves developing program materials, establishing staffing requirements, and ensuring that programs align with the organization's vision, mission, and goals.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Increase organizational capacity by providing insights and assistance in developing community resources programs.
• Collaborate on improving fundraising strategies and cultivating relationships with potential donors, including exploring grassroots fundraising methods.
• Offer guidance on documents and insurance requirements for volunteer events, as well as insights into necessary processes before hiring an operations manager.
• Assist in strategic planning and framework development, supporting the maintenance and improvement of our projects.
• Coordinate fundraising, budgeting, and community outreach efforts, measuring program performance and making adjustments for optimization.
• Facilitate outreach communications, collaborate on special events, and secure commitments from individuals or corporate donors.
• Help to develop long-range objectives, strategies, and actions to achieve organizational goals, analyze information, evaluate results, and solve problems effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality of Hungry 4 Change affairs in communications and ensure appropriate filing and disposal of materials.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Minimum of 2 years of related nonprofit managerial experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Comfortable working in a hybrid (virtual and in-person) environment
• Demonstrated track record of successfully coordinating activities and events
• Committed to working 20 hours per week

Compensation: This position offers a prorated $28.85/hour ($60,000 per annum FTE) for a 3-month term, with potential for extension on a month-to-month basis.
