  • Position Overview: The Sacred Portion Children’s Outreach, a Christian, faith-based Orphan Care and Adoption Ministry located in Bozeman, Montana, is seeking a Social Work Supervisor for its adoption program.

    • The Social Work Supervisor is responsible for providing casework services to adoptive families including home visits, the writing of home studies and post adoption reports, and post adoption supervision.
    • The Social Work Supervisor is responsible for supervising the social workers on their caseload.
    • The social services worker also supports adoptive family clients through the provision of training resources and referrals to services that will benefit the adopted child and family to help ensure a successful adoption placement.
    • The social services worker performs all social work functions in a manner that meets all county, state and federal regulations regarding social work and the provision of ethical adoption services.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in social work or related human services field.
    • Must have good writing skills.
    • Ability to travel to visit adoptive family clients.
    • Prefer prior work experience in the field of adoption with knowledge and awareness of domestic and international adoption processes.
    • Ability to work effectively with adoptive families in a capacity of counseling and education and in a manner that maintains good relationships.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of local and state governmental agencies as well as other adoption service providers.

    Salary: $33,000 to $42,000 dependent upon degree and experience, prorated for part time.

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

    Pay: $33,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year

    Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
