    Position Summary:

    The Franklin Pierce University psychology department seeks dynamic applicants for an Assistant Professor position in a thriving program at our undergraduate Rindge campus. This faculty member would teach PS 101, Introduction to Psychology, PS261 Research Methods, and other courses in areas such as Neuroscience, Cognitive Psychology, or Learning. This position will also include teaching in the General Education Curriculum as deemed appropriate according to program needs. There may also be opportunities for online teaching. Additionally, this faculty member should demonstrate a commitment to scientifically informed pedagogy, experiential learning, and student engagement in the classroom. 

    While preference is given to candidates with expertise in Neuroscience and/or Psychopharmacology, we welcome applications from all highly qualified individuals with the appropriate credentials. 

    Qualifications:

    Appointed faculty are expected to engage in institutional service and advising, and to maintain an active research agenda that preferably involves undergraduate students. The successful candidate will hold a doctoral degree in psychology, have a record of effective teaching at the college level; and exhibit a strong commitment to undergraduate education and advising.
