    Job Description

    The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Missouri School of Medicine is inviting applications for the position of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of PM&R (Non-Tenure Track) with a focus on Outpatient Rehabilitation Services. This role presents an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in delivering outstanding outpatient rehabilitation services at Capital Region Medical Center (CRMC) in Jefferson City.

    Responsibilities:

    As a key member of our faculty, the successful candidate will play a vital role in providing comprehensive patient care across various settings. Key responsibilities include:

    • Perform acute care consults at Capital Region Medical Center, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess and address urgent medical needs.
    • Administer inpatient rehabilitation care within the CRMC 14-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, focusing on optimizing patient recovery and functionality.
    • Provide outpatient services, addressing follow-up needs for patients who have undergone acute care and inpatient rehabilitation at CRMC.
    • Conduct outpatient Musculoskeletal (MSK) care utilizing advanced techniques, including ultrasound, to diagnose and treat a range of musculoskeletal conditions.
    • Administer outpatient Electromyography (EMG) services, employing specialized diagnostic procedures to assess nerve and muscle function.

    This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the continuum of care, ensuring the well-being of our patients across acute, inpatient, and outpatient settings.

    Minimum Qualifications: MD or DO, BE/BC in Physiatry
