    The basics of this position:

    This is a Full Time- Temporary position for Spring 2024 semester.
    Teaching assignments may include day, evening, and weekend classes as well as classes offered online and hybrid. In addition to classroom responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in departmental, campus and college committees and activities.

    What you'll do:

    • Teach Sculpture I, Sculpture II and Three-Dimensional Design and meet all course contact hours.
      Prepare and plan for teaching assigned classes in accordance with course profiles and learning outcomes.
      Prepare daily studio activities, including general studio set up and studio oversight. Maintain the studio equipment and order materials and equipment to maintain a safe learning/working environment. Oversee educational assistants including work schedules, studio responsibilities and studio assistance.
      Prepare 10 campus hours per week with students and complete other job expectations.
      Schedule student conference to review individual student progress as needed.

    Education, experience, and other requirements:

    MFA required with expertise in sculpture and three dimensional design. Candidates with 3 years of full-time teaching experience, or the the equivalent preferred.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience in the St. Louis Community College system preferred.
