Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Part-time Teacher Education Professor – Continuous Pool

    Clark College is currently seeking to fill part-time Teacher Education Adjunct Professor positions.

    This part-time position is an ongoing recruitment in which applications are collected year-round. Applicants must be available to teach late afternoon, or evening hours. Positions will be filled as program needs arise.

     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
    • Master's Degree in Elementary Education (K-8), K-12 Administration & Supervision, K-12 Curriculum & Instruction or a closely related field.
    • Three (3) years of relevant K-12 teaching experience. 
    • Experience with online teaching modalities.
    • Experience implementing culturally responsive pedagogy using multiple instructional methods, formats, and assessments.
    • Ability to work well as a member of a team.
    • Experience mentoring and/or supervising teacher candidates preferred.
    • Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds. 
     Salary: Lecture rate $85.48/hour, and lab rate is $73.01/hour.
