Professor - Computer Science jobs in Nebraska

Nebraska Wesleyan University invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professorship of Mathematics and Computer Science beginning August 2024. Candidates with a Ph.D. in statistics, data science, computer science, or a closely-related field are eligible to apply for a tenure-track position. Those candidates with a master's degree in one of the above fields are eligible to apply for a non-tenure-track position. All candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching at an undergraduate liberal arts institution. Final rank and tenure status will be determined by the Provost after the final round of interviews and conversations with candidates.

Responsibilities and opportunities:

This position is open to all areas of specialization in statistics, data science, computer science, or a closely-related field. Faculty are expected to teach a variety of lower- and upper-level statistics and data analytics courses and selected entry-level mathematics and computer sciences courses.
