The lab chemistry assistant will support bench chemists by owning all aspects of laboratory support including but not limited to; solution/buffer prep, chemical ordering and receiving, glassware cleaning, waste handling, chromatography column packing, and implementation of safety initiatives in the labs. The assistant will also train with multiple lab teams to gain a broad understanding of pharmaceutical process development, synthesis, and analytical techniques. Once trained the role will participate in process development and optimization studies. As demand for small scale oligomers increases or certain development studies require additional trained support, the role will fill this need.
