Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Knowledge in the following areas: Principles and procedures pertaining to higher education, especially teaching methodologies; standard business practices and accepted protocol for areas of responsibility; and college mission, goals and objectives. Ability to supervise and coordinate student activities and establish good working relations with alumni, businesses, students, media, faculty, and others in college community. Professional Certification and/or Licensure is desired but not required.
