Position Overview:
The Associate Director, Organizational Transformation & Change leads/drives programs and projects to improve operational effectiveness and performance across all industries. Applies expertise to identify, organize, and establish effective management of collaborative initiatives through project identification and set-up and execution of tasks directly impacting the operational and success of the client goals. Ensures all work is in accordance with KGS and client policies, and practices is well versed in technology implementations and non-technology projects at all phases, Organizational Change Strategies Employee Engagement, Learning, Strategic Communication, and Mentoring. Has the ability to flex to the client needs while creating trust, exhibiting professional expertise, recognizing potential opportunities, resolving challenges, and is involved in business development activities.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Recommend strategic programs forming long-term relationships maximizing the creation of solutions that accelerate operational process/productivity improvements and positively impacting data capture, project planning, change/data/process management, data compilation and high-quality deliverable generation.
- Is knowledgeable in delivering Employee Engagement pre and post activities to provide clear and prioritized actions for the client.
- Has the ability to facilitate a variety of sizes of audiences, is a good public speaker and is articulate and professional in demeanor.
- Participate in strategic meetings and focus teams serving as advisor while gathering potential initiative insight for future engagement.
- In conjunction with senior/executive management will determine initiative structure providing leadership regarding the scope and types of initiatives appropriate for team involvement.

- Evaluate and provide feedback regarding risks, quality, and overall probability of success minimizing negative impact on project objectives and deliverables.
- Develop risk management plans including coordination of issue escalation and resolution and contingency plans to mitigate risks across initiatives.
- Serve as knowledge and subject matter expert for service area and contact for senior and executive management regarding initiatives.
- Ensure initiatives are aligned with the client overall strategy ensuring alignment and incorporation with overall strategy.
- Identify and establish transparent, successful collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, team, and client.
- Lead high level presentations to executive management.
- Manage staff (if applicable) in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work.
- Accountable for successful delivery of service implementations including meeting project timelines in line with meeting budget.
- The ability to lead Learning Activities and design training.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Assisting in identifying potential organizational and/or operational effectiveness engagement opportunities and creating solutions to accelerate productivity improvements within
- Project managing strategic initiatives designed to proliferate best-practice systems/processes, performing current state assessments, requirements definition, cost estimates, funding requests and program/project plans.
- Establishing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, developing deep knowledge of stakeholder needs and partnering with them to identify, measure and improve organizational performance.
- Project managing acquisition integration initiatives.
- Implementing OKRs and KPI's for performance measurement and optimization
- Identifying and establishing transparent, successful collaboration with key stakeholders
- Preparing and leading presentations to senior/executive management
- Managing and/or participating in change management planning and execution
- May manage small team of project coordinators and/or analysts focused on operational effectiveness initiatives; responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Psychology, Organization Development or related field and a minimum of 15 years of experience in relevant function
- Masters Preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience, project management experience, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a management capacity; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Certifications in Korn Ferry Competencies and 360 tool, Executive coaching certification, Myers Briggs, DISC certification preferred.
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
