Job Summary:

The Production Trainer interacts with Panasonic to develop specifications for content of training requirements. The Trainer is a role model to others while guiding and developing the talent of the production team members. Additionally, the Trainer is well organized and ensures all team members comply to safety working standards, practice, and all environmental regulations.

Essential Duties:

• MO or higher skilled experience in one or more process in the battery manufacturing process
• Understands fully and always works in compliance with SOP and safety standards
• Demonstrated capabilities in equipment and system maintenance as required
• Demonstrated training knowledge
• Role models while guiding others to perform to SOPs correctly and effectively
• Demonstrates sensitivity to other people, their learning styles, and their diverse backgrounds
• Ability to work with others at all levels in organization to achieve training goals and solve challenges and obstacles
• Facilitates learning, collaboration and interactions between employees, shift leads and supervisory personnel that lead to productive and positive outcomes
• Maintains composure under pressure and in learning of the trainee
• Well organized and to organize and energizes others

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

• To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees, wearing PPE is a possibility and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Education:

• Basic/Required: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: AA/AS degree in technical writing, engineering, draft, or related field desired

• Able to analyze data
• Strong knowledge of soft skills affecting the overall functioning of training
• Excellent evaluative assessment and training skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal abilities
• Good understanding of battery manufacturing process
• Excellent ability to help trainees from many backgrounds improve upon training skills
• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must be certified in Train the Trainer Program
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Excellent evaluative assessment and training skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to motivate team members, and work in a high performing team environment. Will need to counsel and deliver performance appraisals to operators
• Must have a safety conscientious attitude
• In the absence of a supervisor, must be able to make safe, business minded, conscientious decisions when issues arise
